Every Day Cooler Card

I'm having so much fun creating these super cute tropical penguin cards. The penguins (MFT) are adorable and the coordinating sentiments are too.

I cut an A2 size black background paper. I cut the plaid (P&M) background paper 1/4" smaller. Then I die cut two squares.

I stamped part of the sentiment on the pink paper square (PC). I stamped the rest of the sentiment on the inside of a white card base. I adhered the black background to the front of the card and then glued the plaid background on top it. I adhered both squares to the front of my card and then glued the penguin on.

I find I am enjoying coloring a bunch of images at one time and having them ready to go when I'm ready to switch gears to making cards. I left a few details uncolored on a few of the penguins. I was able to match the swimming ring to the plaid background paper I chose for this card.
