Happy Bee-Day Card

My daughter loves a good pun, so she came up with the idea to substitute the bee image instead of "B-day" in the sentiment. I love how it turned out.

The card base was made using the Paper Cut Triple Circle Card Making Die (PC) with Dark Textures cardstock (HL).

I colored the bees with nuvo alcohol markers (S) #403 and #405. The bee stamps are Endless Creations (EC) KB's Bees small. The sentiment is a bee stamp used in combination with Lawn Fawn Tiny Tag Sayings: Birthday (S).

The inside sentiment is Endless Creations Ridiculous Happiness (EC). Blue paper is from Entirely Textures pad (HL). Floral patterned paper is from my stash. I edged with Spiced Marmalade (S) and Chipped Sapphire (S) distress inks. The hexagon die I used is 1.25" across.

This card is for my daughter to use, so she had even more input than normal, which often is a lot! I'm thankful for all her help. The bees are from her small stamp collection. When I get to play with her stamps it's the best of both worlds for us. She doesn't have to use the stamps, I have fun crafting, and then she gets to use the finished cards!
