Sweet Grapes Friendship Card

Coloring all those images a couple of weekends ago is still paying off.

I colored the grapes all over with #437. I used #436 and #441 to color individual grapes. For the leaves I colored with #413 and #416. I love the new colors Nuvo added to their alcohol markers (S) this year.

Wine Grapes stamp is Crackerbox Palace (CP) and sentiment stamp is Our Daily Bread Design Mini Tag Sentiments (ODB). I die cut the grapes and sentiment with a 1" circle die. I die cut the green circles with a 1.25 circle die. I used craft foam behind the circles. Tip: I die cut foam with a 1" circle die so it adds dimension but isn't easily seen.

I cut a piece of white cardstock for the inside insert and edged it with dusty concord. I did not adhere it yet because I think it will be easier to stamp. I wish I had a "I'm GRAPEful for you" stamp! Maybe I'll try my hand at lettering it myself.

I used the Paper Cut Triple Circle Card Making Die (PC) for the card base, which is made from Dark Textured cardstock (HL). Green paper is Entirely Textures (HL) and purple dots paper is Pebbles Basics (HL). I added purple/white striped twine (HL).

I edged with distress ink. The white circles are edged with milled lavender (S), the green paper is edged with bundled sage (S) and the purple paper is edged with dusty concord (S).

I love how this "sweet" card turned out!

Blessings,

Julie
