Gnome Home Card

Usually I don't have an affinity for mushrooms, but mushrooms with doors and windows...too cute to not love!

I colored the adorable mushroom and gnome from Prickley Pear Gnome Home stamp set (PP) with Nuvo alcohol markers (S).

I die cut the mushroom, smoke stack and grass with the coordinating Gnome Home Die set (PP). Since there is not a coordinating die for the gnome, I cut him out using my Scan n Cut 2.

The patterned paper is from Pink & Main Be Brave paper pad (P&M). I have made a lot of cards using paper from this pad and their Beach Babe paper pad. I would definitely buy more of their paper.

For the orange square and green paper mat I used cardstock from Dark Textured cardstock (HL). Navy square is from Entirely Textures paper pad (HL). I used a light grey cardstock base to coordinate with the mushroom and more masculine colors.

My sister told me about Prickley Pear's July Card Kit (PP). Even though I didn't use the supplies that came with the kit to make my card, I think it was a good bargain for the stamp and die set, and I still have those papers to use on another project!

My daughter and I (mostly her!) have thought of several pun sentiments to coordinate with the stamps. ;-) Hopefully, I can talk her into writing one in her beautiful handwriting for this card.

Blessings,

Julie
