Strength and Peace

What an encouraging verse! I think it would make a good verse for a sympathy card or a 'thinking of you' card.

Our Daily Bread Designs makes beautiful scripture stamps and this stamp is no exception (ODB).

I stamped the verse with grey Ranger Archival Ink (S/MP) on Art-C Tea Stained cardstock (HL). The Tea Stained cardstock looks like it has texture and dimension but it's a smooth cardstock which makes it easy to stamp and go. Those are good features when one is making several cards at one time.

I inked the edges of the sentiment and background cardstocks. I wrapped grey twine around the yellow patterned paper and adhered it to the card base. Next, I mounted the sentiment on grey cardstock. I adhered the sentiment stack with Pop Up Glue Dots (S/HL). I finished by adding mini pearls to the sentiment layer.

This card is in the mail on its way to a friend in need of an encouraging word. I made this card almost two years ago and it's been stored in my box. Hopefully, it will now be a blessing to my friend.

I'm on a quest to use the cards I make. I managed to give out a few of the autumn cards I made. In 2016 I made autumn cards but never got anything written in them, so I am making progress!

May you also be blessed with strength and peace,

Julie
