Set of 4 Coordinating Christmas Cards

I used Graphic 45's beautiful Winter Wonderland 8" x 8" paper pad (S) to make these four similar, but not the same, cards. I find it's easier to decide on a basic design and then make several cards at one time. The variety keeps me from getting bored while using the same steps keeps me moving at a faster pace.

I cut the red and green bases at standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I cut

the patterned paper at 4" x 5 1/4", then I distressed and inked the edges. I like the texture that distressing them gives.

I die cut (approximately!) 10 million pieces of paper. I have one red or green cardstock die cut and 4 black cardstock die cuts for each word. If I had black craft foam I would have used that, but I have a lot of scraps of black paper which I used instead. I didn't realize how time consuming it would be to cut all those pieces out. I thought running to the store would take more time but I'm not sure that would have been the case.

I adhered them to paper from Graphic 45's St. Nicholas 6" x 6" paper pad. (S)

The stamps and die cuts I used are from Kaisercraft's Christmas Sentiments stamp and die set. I really like the dies and would buy the set again just for those. I do not like the stamps. They did not adhere well to my acrylic blocks. I don't want to have to work to be able to use the stamps I buy.

Blessings,

Julie
