Rejoice in Hope

I just love this Hope verse and was so excited to get the 'Jesus Loves You' stamp set from Maymay Made It.

For the stamped image I used more of the inked cardstock that I previously created for my 'letting the paper do the work' card. I used Distress Oxide inks and water to make it. I stamped the verse with black Versafine ink. I die cut the Oxide background and brown cardstock using the Top Note Layering Set from The Paper Cut.

The ichthus background paper is from Our Daily Bread's 'By the Shore Collection' paper pack. I inked the edges with peacock feathers distress oxide ink. I matted it with brown cardstock and adhered it to a grey colored heavyweight cardstock. For a finishing touch I added one of my favorite embellishments...pearls. Better yet, I found pearls that matched!

The stamp set from Maymay Made it was part of my first order from Maymay's store. I was so impressed with their quick service. I placed my order during the week several of them were out of the office on their Maymay cruise. Maymay had warned that with so many of them being gone it was possible it could affect their quickness. I was prepared for there to be a delay but my order was shipped the same day I ordered it! I was so impressed I already placed a second order and it was shipped just as quickly. I will definitely be buying from her store again.
